Installation

  1. Run DocXAssist-Setup.exe — no admin rights needed.
  2. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click “More info” → “Run anyway”. The app doesn't have a Microsoft certificate yet.
  3. Sign in or create a free account.

Installation

  1. Open DocXAssist.dmg and drag the app into Applications.
  2. On first launch: right-click DocXAssist → Open → Open. Or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
  3. Allow screen recording and microphone access when asked.

System requirements

Processor and memory

Any 64-bit processor, 4 GB of RAM or more. On weaker computers the app picks light models automatically.

Graphics card (optional)

With an NVIDIA graphics card, speech recognition is 4–5× faster. Acceleration is one click away in settings.

Disk space

About 350 MB for the app. Speech, voice and translation models download when first used (75 MB to 3 GB).

Internet

Needed to sign in, download models and update. Everything else works offline for up to 7 days.
